I love coming here for their daily specials, especially Monday and Thursday for their oyster specials! They also have half off appetizers from 4-6pm.
Although, their seafood boils are lacking in comparison to other restaurants in the area, their large variety of options makes up for it. With that being said, I do recommend trying their Louisiana fried chicken wings, oysters, mussels and clams in their garlic butter sauce, and the oreo macaron ice cream sandwich.
The service is also efficient, timely, and in good spirit. They're all so sweet and accommodating, especially Vinny who has our order waiting for us when we walk in the door! -

I grew up in Biloxi Mississippi, I have cajun in my blood.
This place skirts right along the edge. I will explain.
Any Cajun rates cajun places by their Gumbo.
I ordered this to go. I ordered a cup of gumbo and the shrimp with heads on. I spent 35.00 total including delivery.
Gumbo was the right color. What was absent was seafood or sausage. I had a single tiny shrimp in about 4 ounces of gumbo, the rest was about a cup and a half of rice. It is as if they put everything in a blender and pulsed it on high, then added shrimp. It had zero flavor. An old Cajun cooking tip is this...PEPPER YOUR ROUX! Even salt and hot pepper sauce could not save this.
As for the Shrimp, "Low Country Boil /Stone Stew.... I suggest the Juicy Crab. This place cooked the head-on shrimp to powder, which makes it impossible to peel.
Won't eat here again. -

The first time i came here was for a to-go of Mila's Macarons. I work with the culinary genius who makes them and i was not disappointed.
The second time I tried to go here, we were turned away because, as they told us, the manager was running late and they couldn't cook without the manager.
Finally, I came here with friends a month or so ago during our lunch hour. It was us and one other party of three or four people. It took 30 minutes for our server to come get our drink order and another 15/20 to bring us the drinks and take our orders. Another 30 minutes later we got our food. Mine came out last and by this time we were already going to be late getting back to work, so I took mine to go.
My food was ok. Service terrible. Despite the fact that those macarons are worth the trip to this restaurant, after the issue on my second trip and the apalling service on my third, I won't be back. -

Ordered the seafood mix with medium spicy garlic butter sauce from the DoorDash app. The food was so good. The seafood was fresh and tasty. The half seafood mix was about $37. I'm not sure how many pounds it was but I'm guessing about 1-1/2 or 2 pounds. There is no way it is 3 pounds because there were lots of sauce in the bag. There were some snow crab legs, mussels, shrimps, crawfish, sausages, 1 potatoes, and 1 corn. I also ordered 2 extra corn. I dipped the seafood in the extra sauce at the bottom of the pan. I want to come back to try the house sauce and blazin sauce. We will be back sometime soon!

This place was solid. Blazin Cajun is one of many Cajun seafood restaurants (the kind where you put on a bib and gloves and eat with your hands) in metro Atlanta. It opened in 2014. A lot of these places are similar. They're sort of like sports bars/seafood restaurants because they have lots of TVs. This is a great place to come and catch a game.
What I like about Blazin Cajun is they have a pull-down projector screen for big games/events and their tables have holes cut out in the middle of them which are very practical. Each hole contains a box of gloves, napkins, and a small trash bag to discard items like shells and used gloves and napkins. It's really convenient and keeps the table relatively clean while you eat. In general, the food and service we experienced were very good. I recommend this place.
The restaurant is spacious and works well for groups/families. They can accommodate large parties. They have a bar too. There are numerous TVs and, during our visit, they were in great condition with bright, vivid picture quality. The interior has a casual vibe and feels relatively modern. Along with sinks in the restroom, they also have sinks in the back of the dining room so you can easily wash your hands. I really like that.
Here were the prices for seafood (by the pound) when we visited:
* Crawfish - $11
* Shrimp - $15 (head on), $18 (head off)
* Mussels - $12
* Baby clams - $12
* Snow crab - $24
* Dungeness crab - $26
* King crab - $32
These are served in a medium to spicy sauce in a bag with corn on the cob and potatoes (included in the prices above). A "seafood mix" was available that included crawfish, mussels or clams, shrimp, snow crab, sausage, corn, potato, onion, and orange for $60 (full order) or $35 (half).
Like the other places, Blazin Cajun serves more than just the seafood bags. They offer raw and charbroiled oysters ($10-12 for a half dozen, $17 for a dozen), apps like frog legs ($8), gator bites ($10), and gumbo ($5 cup, $8 bowl), po' boy sandwiches ($10-15 each) including soft shell crab and lobster po' boys, fried seafood ($12-23 each), fried rice ($10-16 each), grilled steak and salmon ($15 each), and desserts ($4-8 each) like macaron ice cream sandwiches and funnel fries.
Here's what we had:
* Chicken wings ($11 for 10 wings) - lemon pepper flavor
* Gulf Coast oysters ($17 for 12 oysters)
* Shrimp and fish platter ($15) - served with Cajun fries
* Mussels ($12 for 1 pound), baby clams ($12 for 1 pound), and sausage ($8 for 1 pound) with corn and potatoes in "The Blazin" sauce
Overall, everything was pretty good. The wings were tasty. No complaints. They were salty and tangy. Other wing flavors we could choose from included mild, hot, BBQ, sweet chili, and Cajun. The 10 wings came with 5 flats and 5 drumettes with a side of celery sticks and ranch dressing.
The raw oysters were delicious. They were medium-sized and tasted fresh. The oysters were served atop a bed of pellet ice with cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemon wedges. The oysters were cold and delectable with mild briny flavor.
On the shrimp and fish platter, you have the option of getting tilapia or catfish for your fish. We had tilapia. Both the shrimp and tilapia were fried. I only tried the tilapia since I'm allergic to shrimp. I'm not a huge fan of tilapia since it's a pretty boring fish taste-wise, but I was impressed with Blazin Cajun's version. It was breaded, nicely seasoned, and had both appetizing flavor and texture. Crispy and yummy. Not bad for tilapia. The Cajun fries were par for the course. They were good. This platter came with a sauce on the side. I'm not sure what it was and forgot to ask, but it looked like some sort of spicy smoky mayo. Sriracha mayo, perhaps?
The bag of mussels, baby clams, sausage, corn, and potatoes was excellent. "The Blazin" sauce was buttery, garlicky, and spicy (you can control the spice level). I really enjoyed it. The ingredients were good quality and the portion size seemed generous for just about everything. I liked dipping and sopping up the sauce with everything, whether it be a piece of mussel or a bite of potato. The sauce was quite rich so I couldn't finish everything in one go, but I got through most of it. As mentioned above, the corn is served on the cob.
Our server's name was Quan (I think) and he did a great job.
The bar closes 1 hour later than the restaurant.
I look forward to coming back.
